Inclusion at CircArts
At CircArts our hope is to create an environment where everyone, no matter if you are a student, employee, parent or friend or family member or member of the public, feels welcomed, safe, heard and that they belong as a part of CircArts.
We recognise that this is an ongoing process and we embrace this.
We strive to listen to the experiences of all people who come through CircArts, to act on changes that are needed and to amplify the voices of people who may go unheard.
Please tell us if you notice a way we can improve your experience here. We are committed to making CircArts a space for everyone to feel safe and truly able to thrive, and welcome any ideas you have.
Diversity at CircArts
We recognise and celebrate that everyone that works and trains here is unique in a multitude of ways.
We recognise that within our studio we will have diversity between us that includes but is not limited to; Thoughts, training styles, learning styles, communication styles, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, language, nationality, age, ability, religious beliefs, culture, political beliefs, education and ideas.
We know that with this diversity creates stronger communities and we encourage this.
Equity at CircArts
We recognise that equity and equality are not the same, that in order to have equality we must provide equity to everyone, in everything we do.
We recognize that everyone has a different starting point to participation for various different reasons, and that in order to create an environment where everyone is equal and has the tools they need to grow and thrive we must facilitate and work to fill these imbalances.
We recognise that this is a process, and there is no finishing line, we will always be working to create more equity within CircArts.
